Hi guys, here are a couple of pictures of my filly.

I just want to say for the record - I didn't name her - lol!

She came with the name and it suited her better than her registered name "Lil Cassie Norfleet" so I kept it.

These pictures are of Beauty as a yearling in her previous home:

Here are a couple of pictures from the day I bought her (March 5, 2006):

And here are current pictures of Beauty now.

Thanks Jen,

She is a sweetheart.

Training under saddle is on hold. I had planned to send her to a trainer in Sept, but she had a major paddock accident at the end of July. Poor baby put her hip, back, neck, poll & jaw out of alignment in a nasty fall Crying or Very sad .

So far she's had 4 massages & 2 Chiro adjustments and while there has been loads of improvement she is still not sound.

I think it will be another month or two before she is sound again, but it may take up to a year. Luckily everyone agrees that no lasting damage was done. Its just a matter of the muscles strengthening to hold the hip in place, so I have begun working her lightly again.

She has another massage scheduled on the 15th of Sept, so I will see at that point if she needs another adjustment.

I have to say that my hubby is being awesome about the $$. He seems to understand that this horse is very special to me. He was the one to suggest we buy a horse trailer to bring her with us to Alberta, I was going to wait and send for her later.

I'm happy to hear she's improving. Better to be safe then sorry and to take your time.
